At the 2023 Global Smart Logistics Summit, Cainiao Group announced the launch of its self-operated high-quality express delivery business-Cainiao Express. It is reported that Cainiao Express has upgraded from the delivery business serving Tmall Supermarket to a national express delivery network, focusing on high-quality express services such as half-day delivery, same-day delivery, next-day delivery and door-to-door delivery.
It is understood that Cainiao Express has opened trials to some merchants. Dairy leader Yili confirmed that some of its flagship stores on Tmall began trialling the Cainiao Express service last year.
At the 2023 Global Smart Logistics Summit, customers such as Adopt a Cow, Tsingtao Beer, Timco, Opal, Hema and Intime Department Store also signed contracts with Cainiao Express.
