Our app is a tool for exploring, educating, and engaging with the biblical narrative and is not intended to replace or imitate direct communication with divine entities, which is a deeply personal aspect of one's faith. The AI-powered app does not claim to provide actual divine insights or possess any form of divine awareness, but simply uses its language model to generate responses based on an extensive corpus of biblical and religious texts. The purpose of the app is to inspire reflection, deepen understanding of religious texts, and encourage meaningful conversations about faith.
What Bible does the app use? The app has been trained on all public Bibles, including the King James Version, New American Standard Bible, and more. Artificial intelligence will select the Bible that best fits the conversation based on context. You can also instruct it to use a specific by asking!
Wondering if the app is free to use? Yes! Although full numbers and unlimited messaging are only available to Premium subscribers, the app is free to download and use on all eligible devices.
Can I chat in any language? Yes! AI chatbots are capable of speaking and understanding almost any language. Over time we are working on expanding the translation of the interface within the application itself. The app currently supports English, French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese natively.
What platforms is the app available on? Currently, the app is available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. We are working on expanding to Android and Web in the future.
What is the minimum supported iOS and macOS? You will need a device running iOS or iPadOS 16 or higher, or macOS 13 (Ventura) or higher. Be sure to update your device to iOS or macOS to ensure the best experience.
How do I cancel my subscription? You can cancel your subscription at any time by going to the Settings app on your device, tapping your name, and then tapping "Subscribe." From there, you can select your Text with Jesus subscription and cancel it.
Will my conversations be stored privately? While we need to store your conversations on our servers to provide the Service, we do not share your conversations with any third parties. Your conversations are stored securely and privately. You can also choose to delete all stored personal data directly from the application at any time.
I'd love to chat with a specific person but I don't see it in the app. How can I request it? We're always looking to expand the range of characters in the app.
