Clansman is a challenging medieval colonial simulation game that takes you to the Scottish Highlands to contend with nature itself. Your adventure begins with a piece of open land and a few very tight-knit family members, learning to survive, building your hearth and cabin, tending livestock, harvesting fields, and battling harsh winters. Whether you develop a new settlement into a lively hotel or trading center, or you are content to build a prosperous and self-reliant homeland, everything is in your hands - including the lives of your people.
Establish your bloodline or choose from an existing clan, then take on the role of a multi-generational family trying to survive in the strict Scottish Highlands. Your family members will get married, have children, grow old, and eventually pass away. But the results of their contributions and efforts will remain alive and be inherited by the next generation.
