Atonement is a 2D side-scrolling exploration game that imagines a futuristic technological skyscape where people are overexploited, pollution and resulting monsters are everywhere, and the world is slowly coming to an end. The protagonist is born into a safe world within protective walls. Most people within the walls are unaware of the chaos in the outside world. It wasn't until the protagonist left the protective wall for the first time that he discovered the true situation of the world.
1. Players must play the role of the protagonist and use skills such as running, jumping, and teleportation to avoid monsters. Players can use trees or other methods to alleviate the warming problem during the journey.
2. During the process of exploration, players can talk to NPCs to understand the reasons for the end of the world, and then reflect on the fact that people do not really care about environmental issues, and use environmental issues to illustrate the importance of "empathy" in people's hearts.
3. The game will produce three endings, each ending meets different conditions, and each ending is intended to convey different meanings and show different images.
