Roblox Connect app. Recently, Roblox announced that it will soon launch a Roblox Connect mobile app. Users can create their own virtual characters through the Roblox Connect platform to open their own social chat world.
The virtual community Roblox recently held its annual developer conference RDC 2023 and announced a series of new applications and tools to help users create more content.
In the latest official blog, Roblox revealed that as of the end of June 2023, 65.5 million users were playing Roblox games every day, playing an average of 2.3 hours a day.
In addition, Roblox is about to launch the Roblox Connect mobile app, which allows users to chat with each other using their Roblox avatars in the virtual world. the company stated
We're essentially packaging a Hollywood-style motion capture studio into something that runs on your phone or laptop, requiring no equipment or motion tracking points, just your phone or computer's camera.
Roblox says the app was developed using public platform APIs and will be open source when launched, meaning anyone can extend its functionality.
The company is also committed to making content creation faster and easier for creators. For example, Roblox is developing a way to make avatars using just images and entering some text prompts, which will cut the time to create an avatar to just a few minutes.
Roblox Connect, launching later this year, will allow people to call friends on their Roblox friends list using their real names and facial expressions. Players will also be able to set up a shared immersive space on Roblox, such as sitting around a campfire or Stand by the waterfall and chat.
