The player assumes the role of series protagonist Rico Rodriguez. You can drive all sorts of vehicles, like tanks, planes, helicopters and, cars, shoot guns, and blow everything up. New to this game unlike the others is the ability to look through a scope on all guns, not just a sniper. The game also added a dynamic weather system, some events special to biomes.
