Just write down some interpretation of the plot of June Zhongqu.
I refreshed it for the second time recently and read the tap editor’s post, and I suddenly realized it. When I watched it for the first time, I thought it was a heartwarming story about going back to the past and changing the future. After watching it for the second time, I realized that it was a story similar to the movie "Terror Cruise". It was very scary to think about it. Carl and Joan are both trapped in June, unable to escape from this cycle. Their undying love for each other means that this cycle can never be broken. This is really a cruel ending.
Some friends may not understand it yet, so I will state the conclusion first and then add evidence. The conclusion is:
In order to save Joan, Carl went back to the past and finally sacrificed himself in exchange for an ending in which Joan survived. (This is the ending on the surface. Let’s continue:)
But Joan in the timeline where Joan was alive knew nothing about this. She only knew that on that day, they had a car accident and she lost her beloved husband. So when an opportunity to change the past is placed in front of her, she will not hesitate to sacrifice herself in exchange for the survival of her husband Karl. Yes, Joan in this timeline also went through the same journey as Carl in the previous timeline, and in the end she desperately found that one of the two had to be sacrificed. (This is the story of the timeline of Joan’s survival, let’s continue below:)
But Karl in the timeline of Karl's survival knew nothing about this. He only knew that his favorite wife had left him. He dreamed that his wife would come back to him, until that day, in the dark studio, a painting The painting lights up...
It should be clear by now that Carl and June are trapped in a constant loop of June, which is a dead end because no matter who dies in the car accident, the other one restarts the timeline to save him/her.
Next is the evidence display link:
1. Every time the old man delivers a gift to Joan, Joan's painful wailing can be heard in the background. In fact, the plot design here uses a montage technique, cutting to another timeline of Joan's experience of saving Carl. Compared with Carl clenching his fists, being frustrated and silent when he failed to save Joan, Joan's performance was more emotional when he failed to save Carl, and the two performances were in sharp contrast.
Therefore, the later black and white world was the world that Carl entered when he touched the portrait of the old man. (p2)
2. The parallel time and space that appears in the cabin on the second floor near the end of the game shows Joan's life in another timeline: If it is Joan who survives, she is preparing for the child to be born, decorating the baby's room and buying baby supplies. .
And Carl also saw Joan's notes, which were filled with various plans to save himself. Although the two people with the same mind were in different timelines, they were both doing the same thing. (Careful friends may have noticed that the way in which Joan’s notebook erases unfeasible solutions is exactly the same as the way at the beginning of the old man’s chapter. See p3p4)
The above is my personal interpretation of this game in June. If you have different opinions, please feel free to discuss it.

Why can’t you even choose to understand? I bought it but didn’t play it, so I chose not to understand.
