Haha! Hello everyone, I'm Chris, an independent game developer from the one-person game studio GAMEMEN - Game Humans. How independent are independent developers? It means one person has a bag of tea and two months of code for a project. Get up early every day, make tea, take a shower and go to bed. The commuting distance is 5 meters. The bed is connected to the desk at two o'clock. The working hours are from 12 noon to 3 am. You can rest and relax all year round. You can do whatever you want and have nothing to worry about.
I believe everyone has seen my latest game "Wuyi Jiuzhou" on the forum. There is no doubt that this is a new work of my confidence. Speaking of why I created "Wuyi Jiuzhou", it was actually because I saw people playing too much krypton gold drawing cards and playing too much SLG. I always felt that there should be another way to play on mobile phones, where a person can be alone in a world of his own. , a game to write your own legendary life. So I have been thinking about how to enable everyone to create their own sect, how to make the world progress slowly according to everyone's game progress, how to enable players to leave traces in this world rather than just passing by, adhering to these With the conceptual idea, I started the creation of "Wuyi Jiuzhou".
Time always flies by, but I am not a perfunctory person. Others may have 8 hours of development time a day, but I will work hard to 16 hours. Many times, without knowing it, the progress has been exhausted.
Jiuzhou has started a small amount of closed internal testing, and is currently fixing some weird bugs, because the test partners are so lively, haha, they can always trigger magical bugs.
In fact, I didn’t think too much about it in the early days of Kyushu’s development. I just wanted to make a different game on mobile phones, so that everyone can play a unique game during the recent game shortage, fish at work, and be lazy in class. A unique game. Sometimes everything goes smoothly during development, but suddenly a bug appears that interrupts all ideas, and you need to put down all the tasks at hand and focus on repairing it for a whole day.
Thinking back on being an independent game developer full-time for more than a year, the happiest thing is slowly getting to know the feeling of playing games with players. This feels more interesting than playing your own games. Sometimes I don’t know what the results of the functions will be, but after playing it, players can always find all kinds of weird ways to play, and wonder, can this game still be played like this? Haha, the most interesting thing is to interact and play with the players (sometimes I also like to observe and experience silently). Of course, during the game, it is inevitable that you will encounter some problems, bugs, inhumane settings, etc. that make everyone uncomfortable or even want to complain. After all, it is impossible to cover everything. I also hope that everyone can be more tolerant and give more suggestions. Give me more time and I will slowly do better and better~
I will silently read every player's play, every player's comments, and every player's suggestions. There are some that I look forward to and some that I despise. I am also savoring them all. Along the way for so long, I have been supported not only by my own enthusiasm, but more importantly by the support of players and fans. It is everyone’s love that keeps me confident in developing and producing. I also hope that everyone can continue to support me! Follow me! Give me time to grow!
Emm Furthermore, some people may worry that this will develop Kyushu and leave civilization alone. Don’t worry, I will take care of all projects. Although my manpower is limited, I can work hard! If my hands and feet are not strong enough, I will use liver top. If 8 hours is not enough, I will use 16 hours. If five days a week is not enough, I will use seven days a week! I just hope everyone likes the work I develop.
Since ancient times, players gather less and stay apart more often. Players come and go, stop and go, but I remember everyone. Sometimes a player suddenly becomes silent or withdraws from the group. I can really feel it, as if I have lost a player. Playmate, losing a friend will make me emo for a long time. Of course, there are also many old fans who have been supporting me and supporting me. Participating in internal testing helped me find bugs and fix them despite the uneven quality in the early stage. Without the help of these old fans, the development would not have progressed so fast! These old fans deserve first-class credit! I sincerely thank you all for your time, experience, and contribution to this work!
Thanks to the old fans of closed beta: Maomao~, Yunyi Wuji (Little White Bear), Little Savage Laoxie (Laoxie), Wanzi, Weacmetear, (Kaiyou) Little Wild Bear, Qin Shiyu (Little Rain), Qingfeng Yimeng , Ginza Guoguang, Qiu Tiankeng, Dark, Zeke Sheng and other old fans. (The above list is in no particular order).
Now Kyushu is getting closer and closer to meeting you. The closer I get, the more nervous I am and the more I have to work harder! I really, really, really hope that you all will like it, and I hope that you can happily write your own martial arts biography in the land of Kyushu! At the same time, I would like to thank you all again for your continued support. I hope you can always have fun!
Of course, if possible, I hope you can help make a small reservation to support individual developers, thank you! ! !
