geoip-lookup

Stellt zwei einfache APIs bereit: .lookup und .match . Beide sind asynchron, aber .match „blockiert“ den Rückruf, bis die Informationen abgerufen werden.

.lookup gibt ein undefiniertes Ergebnis zurück, wenn die Daten nicht in einer lokalen LevelUp-Datenbank zwischengespeichert sind, die aktualisiert wird, sobald die Daten abgerufen werden.

Legacy (gilt nicht mehr)

Versucht, IP-Adressen/Standortsuche über LevelDB zwischenzuspeichern und ruft die Daten ansonsten über eine von MaxMind bereitgestellte „Demo“-RESTful-API ab.

Es ist nicht ganz klar, ob dies „legal“ ist, da Sie sich wahrscheinlich eine entsprechende Lizenz dafür besorgen sollten, wenn Sie es in großem Umfang tun.
