An easy-to-use Mac app that gets YouTube running great again! Implemented based on the SpoofDPI library - many thanks to its author.

How to install

1. Download the archive with the latest version of the application from the link above
2. Unzip the downloaded archive
3. Move the unpacked application to the Applications folder
4. Right-click on the application, select "Open"
   (a regular double-click will not launch the application for the first time)
5. Allow startup in the system warning that appears
6. Wait while the application initializes
7. Ready!

You don’t have to keep the application window open all the time—its icon with the image of glasses will still remain in the system tray at the top.

If the application does not start

Unfortunately, the application may not run on some computers. In this case, you need to perform the following additional steps...

1. Open Spotlight System Search
   (icon with a magnifying glass on the right side of the system panel at the top of the screen)
2. Find the Terminal (or Terminal) application and launch it
3. In the window that appears, enter the command xattr -d -r com.apple.quarantine , add a space after it and drag the application file directly into the terminal window
4. Press Enter
5. Try to launch the application again according to step 4 of the original instructions
