article
Articles are one of the core concepts in Halo. An article mainly consists of a plain text article title and rich text article content. In addition, you can also set the category for the article, add tags, set a cover image, etc.
In different site types and different application scenarios, the actual meaning of the article will also be different. It can represent a company news, a blog, or a certain chapter in a product document.
page
There are two types of pages in Halo, functional pages and custom pages.
Function page
Function pages are usually provided by various plug-ins, and the page functions and content presented in the console are determined by the plug-in that specifically provides the page.
Custom page
Custom pages are similar to articles and also contain page titles and page content in the form of rich text. Different from articles, custom pages cannot set category and tag information. They are generally used for pages with a single display function in the site, such as common site about pages, contact us pages, etc.
Classification
Articles can be better organized and managed through classification. There is a hierarchical relationship between categories, and one parent category can contain multiple subcategories. An article can belong to multiple categories at the same time.
Label
Tags can be used to add specific tags to articles. Unlike categories, there is no hierarchical relationship between tags. Multiple tags can also be added to an article at the same time.
appendix
Files uploaded by users for reference in articles, theme settings, etc. It is mostly used in scenes such as article pictures, theme pictures, user avatars, etc.
theme
A resource pack containing various site page templates. The content and style that users browse when visiting the Halo site are determined by the theme configured and used by the Halo management terminal.
plug-in
Software packages for extending Halo functionality. Plug-ins are independent of the Halo core application and can be installed, upgraded, and uninstalled separately.
