This application runs on .NET Desktop Runtime 8. Download and install the runtime here:

This application is "portable" so there is no setup package, just extract and go!
Download and extract the zip file to a writable folder such as C:toolsTrayToolbar or C:Users%Username%AppDataLocalTrayToolbar
Run TrayToolbar.exe from this folder
Select a folder containing your shortcuts
Select Run on log in to start the application every time
Click Save
If you don't see the icon in your system tray, open Settings → Personalization → Taskbar → Other system tray icons and turn on TrayToolbar
You can customize the icons used for each folder in the system tray by changing the folder icon in Windows File Explorer
Right click on folder.
Then click on Properties.
Click on the Customize tab.
Then click on Change icon.
Select an icon from the list or browse for another icon option.
You may have to restart TrayToolbar after changing this option to see the new icon in the system tray
