GPT-Models-Plus

This is a grease monkey script that improves the chat experience by changing the model version of OpenAI's ChatGPT.

Used to force lock models in the ChatGPT web version, supporting GPT3.5/GPT4/GPT3.5M/GPT4M/GPT4B/GPT4P and other models

Function

This script allows users to select and lock in different GPT models for use in OpenAI's ChatGPT page, including GPT-3.5 , GPT-3.5 Mobile , GPT-4 Mobile , GPT-4 , GPT-4 Browsing , and GPT-4 Plugins .

The script will add a dropdown box on the page for selecting the model to be locked. The selected model will be saved locally and used in subsequent chat sessions. (The MAX version will also modify the buttons)

Usage

1. First, you need a browser plug-in that supports user scripts, such as Tampermonkey.

2. Install the GPT-Models-Plus user script.

3. Open OpenAI's ChatGPT. You'll see a new drop-down box in the upper right corner of the page, allowing you to select and lock different models.

4. Select a model from the drop-down menu and subsequent chat sessions will use this model.

How do I know which models my account supports? Please open network monitoring after F12 on the Chat page and reload. You will see that the return value of a URL of https://chat.openai.com/backend-api/models?history_and_training_disabled=false is a JSON of an available model.

Things to note

• Be careful when using this script as it forces a lock on the language model for new conversations.
• It may conflict with other scripts (when used on the same web page, the effect may be invalid). If you find that locking GPT4M is ineffective, I suggest you either turn off other options, or go to the mobile app to initiate a new conversation and then continue on the web version.
• You need to be able to access the corresponding ChatGPT model in the corresponding browser (such as network, browser, PLUS subscription)
• If you are using incognito mode, you need to pay attention to whether incognito support is enabled in the extension settings.
• It is not allowed to be used for illegal activities, and you will bear the consequences yourself, and it has nothing to do with you.
• This script may not remain compatible with all updates to OpenAI. This method may be blocked, blocked, etc. at any time. It may even cause losses to your account, IP, etc., such as being banned. The resulting economic losses and legal risks are borne by the user.

Previously, PLUS could only be purchased on the web version, and the rules were monthly rolling deductions. Later, IOS store payment was opened. You can now pay for PLUS subscriptions in the Apple Store US (but API payment is not supported). Don’t think too much about Apple stores in CN and HK.

The payment methods for Apple US are mainly American cards, American PayPal, and balance. The current balance can be recharged with gift cards without any difficulty; any American card will work, you can refer to my blog; American PayPal is not recommended, and current registration requires a U.S. non-virtual account and daily account closure, which is basically impossible to obtain.
