Foodies

Foodies is a user-friendly web application developed for the "Web Information Systems" course at the University of Piraeus. It simplifies recipe searching based on user needs. This project utilizes ASP.NET with Visual Studio, a PostgreSQL database, the Spoonacular API for recipe and wine data retrieval, and Nicepage for the user interface.

For this application we used the Visual Studio environment using ASP.NET technology. The database used is PostgreSQL. In addition,

Spoonacular API (https://spoonacular.com/food-api) was used to find the recipes/wines via JSON requests. Finally, we used the Nicepage

platform for the UI.

The file Documentation.pdf contains a detailed description of the methods used to create the application and a user manual (in Greek).
