? Requirements

To install Compass On-premise you need:

• Domain name accessible from the external network;
• SSL certificate;
• OS Ubuntu 20+;
• Docker + Docker Swarm;
• Python 3.

Server requirements

Below are the recommended requirements based on the number of active users. Disk system size may vary depending on the number of files being downloaded.

Up to 300 active users:

• Single-server:
  • CPU 16 CORE;
  • RAM 24GB;
  • SSD 1TB.

From 300 to 1000 active users:

• Single-server:
  • CPU 32 CORE;
  • RAM 64GB;
  • SSD 2TB.

If you have a larger number of active users, we recommend consulting with Compass specialists.

Installation and configuration

Please see the documentation to deploy Compass On-premise messenger on your server.

You can view the source code in the repository.

After installation, a private site for user registration will become available on your server. With it, your team members can download the app and get started easily.
