About the Project

Motivation

The idea of ​​developing the project started when I noticed that TDK was processing data as json on its new website. I started developing this project both because there is no good dictionary application on the Play Store and to improve myself. I developed the application as much as I could, using the latest technologies used in the Android community, and shared it as open source to be a good resource for those who want to improve themselves.

Project Details

• In order to use word predictions, we pull words from the "Word List" on the Splash screen one time and save them to the database with Room.
• In the Main Fragment, we take the data in the "Home Page Content" section, process it and display it on the screen.
• Using a search library in Search Fragment, we display the searched word in Recycler View with the help of Room and LiveData. After each search, we add the words searched with Room to table_history in the database.
• We send the word as a parameter to the "Search Content" address in the Search Detail Fragment, process the returned data and display it in the Recycler View.
