The save file is the one with the same name as your folder.

The place where your backup is stored differs from one OS to another.

Windows: %AppData%/StardewValley/Saves/SaveName
Linux: users/steamuser/AppData/Roaming/StardewValley/Saves/
MacOS: /.config/StardewValley/Saves/
