Heroes have one of three main attributes: strength, agility, and intelligence. Each point added to a hero's primary stat adds to that hero's attack damage. Strength heroes are tough warriors who can take more damage than the rest of the heroes. These heroes have natural health that regenerates quickly, allowing them to stay in the fight and deal damage. Strength heroes can fit into a variety of roles, many of which are initiators or heavy controllers. Agility heroes have a subtle dexterity that makes them masters of weapons and combat techniques. These heroes have high attack speed and armor and focus on combining their regular attacks with the items they have equipped, but can rely on their abilities in a pinch. Agile heroes often play the role of carry and ganker due to their ability to scale well.
Intelligence heroes are masters of spells and abilities. They tend to have larger mana pools and greater mana regeneration than the rest of the heroes. Because of this, they often rely on their abilities to aid allies and damage enemies rather than physical attacks, although a small number of them utilize their magical powers to greatly enhance their offensive capabilities. Most intelligence heroes are vulnerable ranged heroes, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're easy to kill. As such, they often play the role of support, ganker, and facilitator, while some play the role of carry. Players can buy Easter eggs to randomly own a small hero. Unlike purchasing small heroes directly, purchasing Easter eggs has a chance to obtain higher-level heroes, but there is also a chance of failure, that is, not obtaining any heroes at all.
