IP2 is a small network tool that allows users to view their IP address, whether it is a WAN address or a LAN address. If users use dial-up Internet access or use wired cables to access the Internet, the WAN address and the LAN address may be the same. Designed primarily for users who are "always" connected to the Internet using hardware NAT routing, IP2 is a small piece of software that can be used to determine which Internet IP addresses are actually accessible. Unlike traditional IP tools that simply display your computer's LAN IP address, IP2 will display your IP address from an "outsider's" perspective on the Internet. The real power of this software comes when your computer is working behind a router and needs to provide someone with your real Internet IP address. It can display WAN and LAN IP addresses, computer names and domain names, all of which can be copied to the clipboard.
