MantisBT is a lightweight open source defect tracking system based on PHP technology. It provides project management and defect tracking services in the form of Web operations, which is sufficient to meet the management and tracking of small and medium-sized projects.
Basic features of MantisBT defect tracking system:
1) Personally customizable email notification function, each user can only subscribe to relevant defect status emails according to their own work characteristics;
2) Support multiple projects and multiple languages;
3) Flexible permission settings, different roles have different permissions, each project can be set to public or private status, each defect can be set to public or private status, and each defect can be moved between different projects;
4) The homepage can publish project-related news to facilitate information dissemination;
5) Convenient defect correlation function. Except for duplicate defects, each defect can be linked to other related defects;
6) Defect reports can be printed or output in CSV format: customizable report output is supported, and user input fields can be customized;
7) There are various defect trend charts and histograms to provide a basis for project status analysis. If the requirements cannot be met, the data can be output to Excel for further analysis;
8) Process customization is not convenient enough, but the process can meet general defect tracking;
9) Integration with CVS can be achieved: defects are associated with files in the CVS warehouse;
