Compared with the first generation, Stand Your Ground 2 has made a lot of upgrades in terms of levels, weapons, enemies and gameplay. This sequel adds 25 unique hand-painted levels to fight across four different areas of Fieldrunners Island. Each level has more than 20 weapons for players to choose from. The map of the sequel uses an innovative "hybrid map", which is no longer a typical tower defense map and mechanism, but a combination of fixed path layout and free building map. If players want to pass the level, they must successfully survive the difficulties and obstacles in all levels.
