Two versions ago, Xiao Yan, who attacked AP first, was very popular in the Brawl, and his winning rate was also very high. However, after Udyr's damage-increasing buff was withdrawn in version 13.5, his winning rate fell to the middle and lower echelons, and his appearance rate was as low as less than 3%. Why doesn't everyone like to play AP Xiao Yan anymore? How should AP Xiao Yan play to find the original happiness? Let’s explore it together.
[Hero Analysis]
Udyr in Brawl has the "Toughness +20" buff.
Since the ruins of the defense tower have been removed and the field of view has become wider, AP Xiao Yan wants to steal a wave of first attacks from the Yin people less and less.
Coupled with the overall environment of the national server being skewed, first attack is easier to break, and many players already know how to deal with first attack Udyr.
The AP attack first method is increasingly testing the opponent's lineup rather than your own lineup. I believe that it is a great blessing to be able to play one or two of the ten Udyr first attacks recently.
If Udyr, the first striker without the damage buff, encounters a lineup with many warriors/tanks, he will gain experience.
If you want to play AP Udyr and also want to throw two or three Buddha's Furious Lotus in a wave and use the opponent's front row as a power bank, then this improved version of AP gameplay that can resist and attack is very suitable for you.
【Rune】
Udyr Brawl Runes Sharing
Main runes: Conqueror + Triumph + Resilience + Perseverance
Secondary rune: Regulation + Firmness
Rune analysis: The runes refer to AD Udyr. Choosing Conqueror ensures that Udyr can continue to output ability. When the stack is full, the amount of blood returned in team battles with Awakening R is considerable.
Triumph increases team battle survival rate.
Resilience + secondary system Determination + Brawl buff 20 toughness, ensuring that Udyr is not afraid of control and kiting in group fights, and can chase the enemy.
Perseverance increases the damage when the blood volume is low, making the end game stronger.
Adjust to increase double resistance and improve mid-term tankiness.
[Equipment and points addition]
Outfit: Rift Maker + Demon's Embrace + Archangel + Shadow Flame + Hat/Magic Penetration Rod
Add points: main R, secondary W, second Q, only click the first level E.
Equipment analysis: Canyon Maker is very useful for playing multiple front-row lineups. R skill percentage damage + Canyon Maker’s real damage can easily melt front-row tanks.
Of course, if the opposite side is all crispy or there is only one in the front row, it is recommended to use the push stick for better results.
Demon's Embrace's percentage damage burn effect goes well with Awakening R. These two sets provide a total of 750 health points, which can support Udyr's mid-term tankiness.
Archangel improves teamfight fault tolerance.
Shadow Flame provides a certain amount of magic penetration, as well as health points. After using the above four-piece set, you will gain a total of 1050 health points. At least you don’t have to worry about dying suddenly in a team battle.
The last hat increases skill damage. The opponent's magic resistance is high and Shadow Flame's Magic Penetrating Rod is used.
Introduction to gameplay
Compared with pure AP Udyr, this set of equipment has a higher fault tolerance rate, and it does not suffer from entry opportunities and operational pressure. You can hit whoever you can, and you can always chase the opponent's A for passive awakening, which is very suitable for lineups with many front rows.
There are too many concerns about taking first strike. Many first strike players have this mentality: they don't want to go if the first strike is broken, and they stay behind and wait for the first strike to improve before they can go up. Moreover, the first attack style is very poor in the hit rate of snowballs. Once the snowball does not hit the crispy back row or a crowded place, the effect of first attack to steal money will be greatly reduced.
The gameplay of Conqueror is very simple, just think of yourself as a warrior.
When fighting, awaken R to start, then use W to chase the opponent's A, wait for the opponent to run, use E to stun, and finally use Q to compensate for continuous damage.
If the position of Awakening R is not good, you can first use E to increase the movement speed to find a good position and then use Awakening R. Anyway, if you don't take the first attack, you won't be afraid of being broken. If you run a little longer to find a good angle of attack, the damage will be higher in team battles.
After such a set, the passive awakening CD has also been improved. Depending on the situation, you can awaken W to restore blood or continue to awaken R to deal damage. With the blood recovery of Conqueror and Canyon Maker, the durability of team battles is much better than that of attacking Udyr first.
If your team only has Udyr in the front row, then awaken R and then use W or E to retreat back. Don't be greedy for output.
This set of equipment emphasizes stable damage, continuous output and not afraid of melee combat.
If you want to pursue coolness, it is recommended to return to the traditional self-destruct style of equipment, use pure AP to trade blood with the opponent, and give teammates room to harvest. For specific gameplay, you can read the article I wrote about AP Xiao Yan first.
