In the Genshin Impact game, version 4.0 added many new forged weapons, which also introduced a mechanism called Life Contract, which is mainly applicable to Fontaine’s forged weapons. The mechanical explanation of Life Pact may be confusing to some players, but it will be introduced in detail below.
Genshin Impact Life Contract Guide
Introduction to Life Contract
Genshin Impact Fontaine's new mechanism "Life Pact" means that it will absorb the healing effect of the character, making it impossible for the character to recover health. After absorbing the healing recovery amount equal to the Life Pact value, the Life Pact can be Clear. When the Life Pact is repeatedly given, the amount of recovery required to clear it will also be superimposed. The Life Pact has a long duration without actively clearing it or removing it through the Seven-Day Statue. When releasing elemental combat skills, a life contract will be generated. The value of the life contract is the proportion of the upper limit of the life of the character who releases the combat skill. During the existence of the life contract, all your healing effects will not heal the character itself, but will be recorded in In the Pact of Life, and if the total amount of healing is not enough for the Pact of Life value, the Pact of Life will always exist. When the amount of healing is sufficient, the Pact of Life disappears and benefits the character.
Things to note
1. The life contract does not mean burning blood, and the existing health points will not be lost.
2. The contract of life does not mean locking blood. Without a shield, it only decreases but does not increase. You will also lose blood if you are attacked, but you cannot recover until the life contract disappears.
3. The higher the cost, the higher the harvest, the higher the health value, the higher the percentage life contract, and the higher the gain effect obtained after clearing it.
4. There is an upper limit for the Life Contract, which can be accumulated if triggered multiple times and can exist for a long time. This means that in theory, the character can obtain the Life Contract multiple times without accumulating life, and when the upper limit is reached, he can heal and consume the full buff in one go.
