Piranha Games has announced a new independent game in the "MechWarrior" series, called "MechWarrior 5: Tribes". This game is expected to be released on PC/Xbox/PS platforms in 2024. The official released a short trailer for this, let’s take a look!

Although "MechWarrior" is included in the game name, "Tribes" is a completely independent game. The game will adopt the core gameplay mechanics of "MechWarrior", but will focus more on the linear campaign mode. The story of the Smoke Jaguar tribe, the background of the game will be set in 3050, when a conflict called tribal invasion is taking place around the world.
"MechWarrior 5: Tribes" will focus on the game's story, and players will travel through a variety of planets that contain hand-drawn maps and missions. The game will also offer many new customizable Horde Mechas. The game tells the story of an elite mecha team composed of five new mecha masters who achieved brilliant results.
The gameplay of "MechWarrior 5: Tribes" will retain the simulation-style gameplay mechanism of the previous game, but it will also introduce a new upgrade growth system and customization system.
