Sourcecode reported this morning that Sony announced the launch date of the PS+ cloud game service. The PS+ cloud game service is a streaming cloud game service launched by Sony for PS Plus third-tier members. Players can stream games through the PS5 console. PS5 games (no need to download them to PS5 first).
When it comes to streaming, I believe everyone will think of the PlayStation Portal streaming handheld console previously announced by Sony. This new handheld console will be released on November 15th. Then some smart students will ask: Can I use the PS Portal handheld to use cloud gaming services? Sony’s official PS.Blog website has revealed this information, let’s take a look.
Sony said: The PS Portal handheld console is suitable for those whose living room TV is occupied, or who just want to play PS5 games in another room. PS Portal can be remotely connected to your PS5 via Wi-Fi, so you can instantly switch from playing on PS5 to playing on PS Portal.
The PS Portal handheld console can play the games it supports that are installed on your PS5. However, it does not support PS VR2 games that require a VR helmet, as well as streaming games from the PS+ three-level membership cloud game service.
