When surfing the Internet, we often encounter pop-up advertisements or advertisements that imitate QQ notification messages in the lower right corner. What's more, some software will have rogue and stubborn icons placed on the desktop after installation. The Trojans and ad programs contained in those software can be killed (often some rogues will delete themselves after modification), but there will still be some residues on the desktop. Those files are very special. There is no delete option when you right-click and press "del" or "shift" +del" will not prompt for deletion.
what to do?
In fact, in the XP era, you could use the "Desktop Cleanup Wizard", but this tool has not been available since the Vista era, so Vista and Windows 7 systems can only use other methods.
Manual deletion
Do it yourself and have enough food and clothing. Here’s how:
Win key + R key to open the run window, then enter regedit, click OK to open the registry editor, and find
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft Windows/CurrentVersion/Explorer/Desktop/NameSpace
Right-click on the NameSpace, select "Export", and save the REG file to the desktop.
Among the projects in the picture above, each user is different, and some of them are included in the system, such as:
{450D8FBA-AD25-11D0-98A8-0800361B1103}
{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}
…………
Please do not delete the above two items. There are others that cannot be deleted because these items are different in each system. All you have to do next is delete them.
Next, delete the items in the NameSpace one by one. Before each item is deleted, remember the name of the item. After deleting an item, refresh the desktop. If after deleting {3D3DBDD2- DD4D-B157-4264-0B0D4DD6BD45}, the icons on the desktop disappear, then use Notepad to edit the REG file just exported and delete the
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Explorer/Desktop/NameSpace/{3D3DBDD2-DD4D-B157-4264-0B0D4DD6BD45}]
@="xxxxxxxxxxxx"
If there are multiple icons on the desktop that cannot be deleted, you need to delete multiple icons. Then save, and finally import it into the registry, this will solve the problem.
