"Cities Skylines 2" Twin Mountains map introduction
Difficulty Rating: Beginner/Intermediate
A small river flows slowly through a steep, flat-topped mountain, bisecting it in two. Gentle slopes descend from the mountains, forming a vast coastline dotted with numerous cliffs and beaches. There are no existing railways on this map, so rail connections must be built from scratch.
There are many similarities between the Twin Mountains and the Endless Plains, but there is one difference - the Twin Mountains are not connected by rail, so all goods need to be transported by other means. Visually the map is very beautiful, with rolling mountains on both sides and very simple four-lane road-to-freeway connections. It's much wider overall than The Expanse, but there's a lot of higher elevation to deal with. If you feel that The Endless Plains is more difficult but don’t want to make it too easy, you may consider choosing this map.
