Hello everyone, I am a little fish in the ocean. I am a newbie, an unknown grassroots webmaster, wandering in the vast sea of nets, looking for my own land of water and grass. I started to get into contact with websites around 2009, when I was still a student. One of our courses was website design. I thought website design was very interesting at the time, so I became very interested in it, and I can’t stop it now!
From 2009 to now, I have also built several websites, of course using source code. I personally don’t know much about programming. At that time, I had never dabbled in the field of SEO. I had no idea that search engines could K-site, and I didn’t know how to promote my website. I simply thought that as long as the website was built, there would be traffic. Day by day, the website gets more than a dozen traffic every day, and friends still visit it. At that time, I often revised the website and changed the program. Now I feel like I was really an ignorant child at that time! Later, I met a netizen by chance. He was a very nice person. I would ask him if I didn’t understand something, and he would answer it for me carefully every time. That was when I really came into contact with the subject of SEO. Later, I learned about many webmasters’ own websites from him, such as Webmaster.com, Webmaster Encyclopedia, SEOwhy, etc. Ask for help when you don’t understand, study when you are free, and recharge yourself!
I have also come from a novice step by step. Although I am not very professional now, I still know a little bit. The following are my suggestions for novice webmasters. This is just the sharing of personal experience. If there are some deficiencies, I hope to give them some advice. I'll point it out!
1. Before building a website, first determine the theme and keywords of the website.
The determination of the website's theme and keywords is very important for the development of a website. If it is well determined in advance, once the website is built and problems are found, you may need to make a large-scale revision of the website. This will be detrimental to your website. It is very dangerous, search engines will be unfriendly to your website. The keywords of the website are also important. The keywords of the website are mainly divided into target keywords and long-tail keywords. These two aspects must be handled well. The display density of website keywords on the homepage should generally be around 2% to 8%, which is conducive to optimization.
2. The content of the website should be original or pseudo-original as much as possible.
Most of a website is content. Adding website content is a very hard work, and the workload is also huge, but we cannot be careless because of this. Some people may say that we can collect other websites through collection programs. content, yes, if you just play for fun, then you can definitely do it. The quality of the content directly affects the weight of your website. It is best for us novices to spend more time on the content.
3. Increase external links regularly and quantitatively
I think many friends know the saying "content is king, external links are king". From this we can see that the role of external links cannot be ignored. The more external links the better, but the most important thing is to pay attention to their quality. We should try our best to pursue high-quality external links. So where can we get high-quality external links? In fact, there are many places where we can build blogs on large websites, such as NetEase Blog, Sina Blog, Baidu Space, Tianya Blog, etc., as well as Baidu Knows, Soso Q&A, etc. These all have to be tried and learned by individuals! I also need to mention friendly links here. I have met many novices who almost add about 30 friendly links in a day, and many of them are irrelevant websites. This is undoubtedly a great harm to the website. . When adding friendly links, we should try to add relevant ones, and it is best to add one every day until the number is added to about 30!
4. Building a website is a long-term process, and we need long-lasting persistence.
Many friends asked me why my website has no traffic and cannot rise in the rankings. I asked them if you insist on updating website content regularly and quantitatively, and publishing external links regularly and quantitatively. They all said no. When you are happy, you publish several times a day. Ten articles, and if you are not happy, you will not update the website content for a week. How can the website have traffic if you build a website like this? A website is a long-term process that requires persistence and patience. If you insist on doing these every day, I believe your website traffic will slowly increase.
The above are all personal experiences. I don’t know if they will be useful to everyone. If you feel there are any shortcomings, you can leave me your valuable suggestions below. I will humbly ask for advice!
