This morning I turned on my computer and checked my company's website and my blog. It was fine if I didn't look at it, but I was completely shocked when I looked at it. The keywords that originally ranked on the first page of the company's website are now missing from the first page, and the situation of the blog is not optimistic. Generally speaking, Baidu keywords as a whole have dropped significantly.
Let’s briefly analyze the situation first:
1. Website inclusion remains basically unchanged.
2. The ranking of the main keyword has dropped, and the first three pages are mostly internal pages of some portals.
3. The snapshot seems unchanged.
4. The Baidu rankings of most website brand keywords, that is, website names, have dropped significantly.
5. The ranking of a small number of websites has improved by leaps and bounds, mostly from the previous four or five pages to the top three on the homepage.
6. Blogs on portal websites rank better, such as Sina and Baidu Space.
Let’s take a look at some things about Little Bear’s blog. The top ten rankings of Baidu's "Hunan SEO" are as follows: Sina Blog, Baidu Knows, Baidu Space, Baidu Tieba, an SEO blog (second-level domain name, cannot be opened), query website, Qibo corporate blog, phpwind forum internal pages.
From this, we can easily see that Baidu's own products, portals, authoritative forums, and b2b websites rank better. Some people say that this may be a series of jumps made by Baidu for SEO. Xiaoxiong thinks this statement is unreliable, and the algorithm adjustment is certain, but Xiaoxiong believes that this adjustment has not been completely stabilized, and there should be changes in the future.
In view of this fluctuation in Baidu rankings, we can roughly analyze and summarize several reasons:
1. Baidu algorithm adjustment (the failure of individual enterprise websites is manifested in more off-site anchor texts and more one-way links. It may be that the method of calculating external connections needs to be changed. This is just an estimate).
2. The rankings of new and old sites have all dropped. This big storm before the calm is most likely caused by Baidu’s internal data update not being updated in time, causing many internal pages to be on the home page.
3. The storm is coming. It may be that Baidu is starting to deal with some websites or websites of a certain industry nature (that is, the treatment of junk SEO websites mentioned above).
4. Baidu’s new products or new features. I heard from a friend who does bidding before that Baidu customer service has been undergoing training recently. This reason deserves attention, whether it is in conjunction with some adjustments to its bidding system.
5. The last guess seems to have something to do with Baidu being sued in the United States.
