Unknowingly, I have been doing website optimization for several months. Through continuous learning and hard work, I have optimized 4 corporate websites. Just when I was happy, Baidu's fickle rankings were also much higher. There are few fluctuations, and the most disgusting thing is that two stations have dropped in the rankings. This is more of a realization that it is easier to conquer a country than to defend it. Why are the rankings of these enterprise websites unstable? I will use my experience in the past few months to analyze the factors that make the rankings of enterprise websites unstable.
1. Too much competition: Enterprises already have a lot of competition, but due to the restrictions of laws and regulations in reality, some competition has been reduced to a great extent. The Internet is different. Now almost all enterprises are aware of the importance of the Internet to enterprises. Many have begun to enter e-commerce, and a company may have hundreds or even thousands of corporate websites, which will increase competitiveness to a certain extent. Most of them only value website rankings. Due to lack of professional SEO knowledge and skills, they find some more professional SEO for optimization. Since the participation of SEO has increased the changes in website rankings to a greater extent, ranking is no longer a competition between website content quality but a competition of SEO technology. And the methods used by these so-called SEOs have become the main factor in ranking instability.
2. Lack of professional website management: As I mentioned above, a company may have hundreds of websites, and managing these websites every day requires a lot of energy. Because these business owners only value rankings and spend little money. Find professional and full-time personnel to maintain and manage the website for them. Often these sites have better rankings when someone is optimizing and maintaining them, but when they are busy with other sites, these sites have no one to care about and the sites are not updated and their rankings drop.
3. Website content restrictions: Most corporate websites simply produce one or even several products, which limits the release of high-quality content to a great extent. Take the site www.xiaoxingzhishaji.cn as an example. This site only has 5 products in total. When adding website content, I could only add them around these products and website keywords. At the beginning, the articles and news were still there. It's easy to add, but as time goes by, I find that there are almost nothing suitable to add. I am not in the mechanical field, and I only learned about these things when I started doing SEO, so I can only pretend to be original. As time goes by, the quality of website content becomes even worse, and most search engines rely on website content to rank. So this site of mine is naturally going to come down.
4. Not paying attention to the website brand: It is because many bosses lack a certain understanding of website optimization, Internet marketing and e-commerce as a whole. They pay too much attention to the temporary ranking of the website and seldom operate the website from the perspective of website brand and long-term Internet marketing. Due to this lack of awareness, they have increased their investment in website construction, constantly increasing the number of websites but paying little attention to the quality of the website and the corporate brand effect of the website. As a result, many websites rely on rankings to obtain benefits, but ranking rarely brings economic benefits.
The above is an analysis of several reasons summarized from my personal experience since doing corporate website optimization. Since I am not very good at SEO and writing, the above points are for reference only.
