Interest is the biggest motivation for learning Photoshop, then learning will become extremely easy and happy. Maybe your interest is beauties, that's fine, it's just what you want. Now I will give you a process of sketching beauties and explain them. I hope it will be helpful to you, and I also hope to get some guidance from experts. Let’s take a look at the effect first:
1. First start Photoshop, create a new canvas of suitable size, and use the brush tool to draw a draft of the character in the newly created layer. The drawing of the draft does not need to be too detailed, but the basic outline position must be as accurate as possible, otherwise it will cause a lot of troubles, such as crooked nose, slanted eyes, distorted chest, etc. (Fig.01)
2. After drawing the sketch, create a new layer and color a large area of the character's skin. There is nothing to talk about here. You just need to cover the position of the skin with a suitable color. Since this painting is a sketch, it needs to be drawn with a suitable grayscale. I chose a lighter gray, and the skin is a lighter part. (Fig.02)
3. The same method is to use dark hair color. (Fig.03)
4. After laying out the large area of color blocks, you need to show the light and dark sides of the entire character's body. Here you can use the Burn and Dodge tool, or directly use the brush tool to draw with relatively low pressure. However, this is just a rough sketch and does not need to be particularly detailed. (Figure 04)
5. After all the efforts in the early stage, I finally started to draw the facial features of the beauty. What needs to be noted here is to use a harder brush with a smaller pixel value to draw. Don't paint a certain part in detail first. Keep the progress of the facial features consistent and draw gradually. (Fig.05)
6. Now the time is basically ripe. It is time to use a small brush to carefully depict the eyes, making them look like spheres. What also needs to be noted is where the beauty's eyes are focused, and the expression is found to be convenient for controlling the eyes. I've heard what others have said about this, but I haven't found anything special about it so far. You can try it yourself. (Figure 06)
7. Draw the nose. Women’s noses are different from men’s. Their noses are more curved. When drawing, you need to use a scent with low hardness to express the light and dark clearly and keep it consistent with the overall tone. (Figure 07)
8. When drawing lips, you need to pay attention to the expression of dark side and high light, as well as the compatibility with the face, so that it looks like jelly, haha. That's pretty much it. (Figure 08)
9. Since the face is the focus of the entire painting, we only need a few strokes to cover the body part, which can make the focus of the painting more prominent and more artistic. (It is said to be so) (Picture 09)
10. I only used black to express the hair. I hope to create a sharp contrast between the thick black and the bright face to highlight the character’s head. Use a 1-3 pixel brush to draw the hair. (Figure 10)
11. At this point, the entire painting is basically completed. In order to make the picture more expressive and artistic, I will use a texture filter on the picture after merging the layers. (Figure 11)
12. Texturing can simulate the picture into a canvas. The parameter settings are as shown in the figure. (Figure 12)
