Prism branch profession-combine the power of light and shadow
For the first time, Guardians wielding Prisms will be able to mix and match Arc, Sun, Void, Ice Shadow, and Thread—combining them to unlock new potential for power and customization.
But it's not just a mix of skills. You can also transcend the known limitations of light and shadow by entering a transcendent state, which can only be achieved through use of the Prism subclass. Both charge meters are charged by dealing light and shadow damage, and once the charge meters are full, the transcendent state is temporarily activated. The extraordinary state unlocks new unique grenade skills and weapon damage bonuses.
In addition to Prisms, there are Aspects and Shards to further customize your build and help you achieve combinations you never thought possible. Additionally - and great news - players only have to unlock these Aspects and Shards once, making them available to every class. You'll also get more Astrology and Shard slots than ever before.
Guardians can further adjust their prism builds with the new exotic class items that will be available in Shape of the End. Exotic class items work with the Prism branch class, and each item will come with two random exotic traits inspired by a selection of other exotic armors, even belonging to different classes. In other words, a hunter might be able to obtain an exotic cloak that combines the unique features of an assassin's hood with the features of a trickster's handshake. The Dire Fights like a bat with a gun, and can suppress your abilities with its screams. Husks are melee combatants, and even after they've been destroyed, they can still try to knock you down by releasing their spirits. The Squire and the Weaver can control Ice Shadow and Thread respectively, which will freeze you with shadow energy and pull you to the other side of the battlefield.
