At the end of the 13th century, the Mongol Empire marched eastward, leaving scorched earth everywhere it went. The cruel and cunning Mongolian commander Hetong Khan led a massive invasion of Japan. Tsushima Island was the last line of defense between the invaders and the Japanese mainland.
When Tsushima was ignited by the flames of the first wave of the Mongolian offensive, the brave samurai Jin Jingjing stood firm. As one of the few survivors of his clan, Jin is determined to protect his fellow humans and regain his homeland at any cost. He must give up the path of a samurai he has followed throughout his life, open up a new way of "fighting ghosts", and use extraordinary methods to fight for the freedom of Tsushima.
"Ghost of Tsushima™" is an open-world action game set in feudal Japan. The protagonist Jin Jingai is a samurai who resists the Mongolian invasion of Tsushima at all costs. Players will wield weapons and experience numerous melee and long-range battles from a third-person perspective. Successful attacks can trigger dismemberment and decapitation, often accompanied by large blood splatters. Players can also fight in stealth mode and use assassination techniques to kill enemies invisible. Cutscenes and some scenes contain more violent and bloody elements, including a scene where a civilian is burned alive, and a close-up of a person who is decapitated and whose head is held up for a face-viewing camera. The game's environment and clothes will be stained with blood, and successful attacks will cause blood to splatter.
