A month ago, I published an article on A5 Webmaster Network, "The Gains and Loss of New Website Optimization in Two Months for Novice Webmasters", which summarized my experience as a webmaster for two months. Now three months have passed. In nearly a month, I have been to the A5 forum and other SEO optimization forums several times. Today I want to share with you what I have experienced this month and some of my thoughts. Hope it will be useful to novice webmasters.
On the second day after my first soft article was successfully passed, my website was pulled into the Baidu 11th position phenomenon. All the primary keywords were ranked 11th, and some were below 11th. At first, I didn’t know what the Baidu 11-bit phenomenon was, but my keen sense of smell let me know that there was something wrong with my site. Baidu is a platform from which I can learn a lot. Searching, it turns out that there is a saying that Baidu artificially intervenes in the 11-bit phenomenon. I started to re-examine my website and eliminated problems one by one. My website is all original and there is no collection problem. I also do external links appropriately every day. I also checked the friend links and there were no problems. I checked later. I finally found the problem, keyword stacking. Although the keyword density is between 2% and 8%, the stacking of several keywords is too obvious. You can tell it by looking at it manually. It has nothing to do with the topic. Hardly. I added a keyword in it. Although the length is not very large, the density is as high as 6%. I think part of the problem must be in this, so I decisively changed a few articles that were included but not published. For the titles of the 3 articles, try not to display the others on the home page. After checking with statistical tools, it is basically less than 3%.
Another suspicious point is the keyword issue. The text I describe is too single, and every original article describes the home page of the text. Since it is all my own original work, I will cleverly add my own main keywords to every article I write. The external links of the blog also only point to a keyword with text. I think the slow collection may be the reason for this. When publishing original articles next time, I will start to reduce the description of the text, and at most make appropriate internal links.
Officially because of these two problems, Baidu pulled me into the 11-bit phenomenon. Baidu thought that I had over-optimized and my website entered the sandbox period. Next, I began to carefully optimize, insisting on three original articles every day, one in the morning, one in the afternoon, and one in the evening. There are no more than 10 external links per day. I try my best to post in forums related to my website. There are fewer replies. Every post is written by myself. Fortunately, the website traffic is still normal during this period. Although Baidu traffic is less, but Others are still there, and relevant forums also have some traffic coming in. After two weeks of hard work, my site snapshot was finally normal. The next day, some novel articles were gradually collected by Baidu in seconds. I calculated that my website is included in Baidu at about 80%. It shows that there is no big problem with my website. Although there are several keywords on the second page and only one or two on the homepage, Baidu's successful inclusion has given my site a lot of long-tail traffic. As a novice webmaster, I have learned a lot from the problems I encountered this month, which will help me better understand how to optimize in the future optimization process. I share it with you, hoping that novice webmasters like me can avoid unnecessary mistakes. The following is my summary:
1. Don’t pile up keywords in order to get a good ranking. Baidu has been very strict in this regard recently. If it accumulates, please deal with it decisively.
2. When writing original publications and describing text with keywords, avoid being single and describe the text appropriately.
3. For external link publishing, it is best to publish in forums related to your own website. This will not only increase the weight of the website, but also bring a certain amount of effective traffic.
3. Original articles should be as new, strange and unique as possible. It is easy to include in this way. Of course, if some related long-tail articles have similar titles, you don’t have to worry about not being included if you are original. Baidu sometimes includes it but does not release it. It will be released when there is a major update.
Finally, I hope that novice webmasters can benefit from this article and do a good job in original updates and external links to the website. I also hope that the weight of your website will become higher and higher and the ranking will get better and better.
