The Ark Survival Evolved Leaving Traces mission is an important system for cultivating young dinosaurs in the game. After the player obtains a newly-born dinosaur baby, he can get good bonuses through the leaving traces system. Then the Ark Survival Evolved Leaving Traces mission How to do it? Come and take a look, friends!
How to complete the task of leaving traces
The cubs are very edible, so you need to prepare enough food rations (raw meat & fruits). When to leave a mark, you need to pay attention to the baby, cub or young dinosaur. A countdown timer is displayed on the head of the dinosaur. When the timer expires, the dinosaur will choose one of the three leaving marks: the leaving mark task.
1. Eat a random feed, put the feed requested by the dinosaur in the shortcut bar in the lower right corner, get close to the dinosaur and click to feed it.
2. If you want the owner to give you a hug, just wait for the countdown to end and click on the dinosaur on the right side of the screen.
3. If you want to take a walk, follow the dinosaur and walk about 0--20 bases away (the specific distance is random). Moving the kangaroo counts if the dinosaur is in the kangaroo's pouch.
In the current version of the server, traces are left every eight hours (only 30 minutes for a single machine), and the next round will not start until the previous round of traces is completed. The progress of each trace is determined by the growth time of the dinosaur. Generally speaking: the progress of each trace = the total growth time of the dinosaur ÷ 8. The displayed value of the progress of each leaving trace is the actual value rounded (because decimals cannot be displayed in the game, so it may be 33% for the first time to leave a trace, and 67% for the second time)
Leave a mark reward
1. After leaving a full mark, all attributes except endurance and oxygen will increase by 20%, including movement speed and stun. The increase is added to the wild basic attributes, not the attributes after taming (we know that the health of Nanju will be greatly reduced after it is tamed, and the 20% health added by the traces is calculated based on the blood that has not been cut) . Note: Flying creatures do not receive movement speed bonuses.
2. The damage and resistance of dinosaurs that have left traces will be increased by (30%*leave traces progress) if they are raised and ridden. For example, if your dinosaur's damage is 150%, and it has 80% marks, and is ridden by a caregiver, the damage displayed by the dinosaur is 150%*(100%+(30%*80%))=186%.
General points of note
1. The attributes left behind will not be passed on to future generations.
2. Even if the cloned dinosaur leaves traces, the cloned dinosaur will not leave traces to add attributes. (Clone is the function of Tektronix clone machine in the terminal game, and the mobile version is not currently available)
3. The types of trace feed required by each map.
4. Putting the baby dinosaur into the pouch of a female kangaroo with a mate bonus to leave a mark will double the mark and can slow down the food consumption rate. Kangaroos can carry the following babies or small animals: Ankylosaurus, Gigantopithecus, Rhinoceros, Eagle, Hyena, Parasaurolophus, Baryonyx, Gryptozoon, Elephant, Turtle, Ichthyornis, Velociraptor, Pansaurus, Musk Footed beast, oviraptor, sheep, pachyrhinosaurus, Daishi, therizinosaur, wolf, rhinoceros, pteranodon, kangaroo, etc. . . (There are some others that I won’t list one by one).
Only female kangaroos can carry it. When leaving traces, make sure there is a male kangaroo nearby to give the female kangaroo a mate bonus. Mount the kangaroo and swipe up on the screen to grab the baby. Regarding the traces left by kangaroos walking, I asked my friends, and the baby just followed and rode the kangaroo.
Note: The kangaroo parenting function of the mobile version is not yet open. If you have any successful cases, you can leave a message and share them!
