World of Warcraft explores the future update direction of the season server: the level 80 nostalgic server will open the Ruby Temple early next year, the level 85 nostalgic server group CD will remain unchanged and 25 people will drop +1, and the individual mode will be on the player's current hard-core server. is open, but there are no plans for new hardcore servers.
1. The Ruby Temple will be released in early 2024. There are currently no plans for a permanent level 80 nostalgic server.
2. Catastrophe
The World of Warcraft design team is excited about the difficulty of Cataclysm raids and hopes it will challenge players.
The patch cadence will be faster than when Cataclysm was originally released, and there are currently no plans to change the raid CD.
When the new phase launches, consider making the raid loot system work similarly to Naxx, perhaps allowing 25-player raids to drop an extra item to incentivize players to play in 25-player raids.
The guild hierarchy is changing, which not only benefits larger guilds, but also makes smaller guilds feel rewarded.
Zurg and Zul'Aman will likely be released as an intermediate patch rather than as a new phase.
Never say never when it comes to PvP Arena solo queue, but there are no immediate plans to implement it.
3. Hardcore mode
Personal mode will be enabled on the player's current hardcore server.
During character creation you can choose whether to play in personal mode.
Players can turn off personal mode at any time, but cannot turn it back on.
If you reach level 60 in personal mode, you will receive a buff, just like the player receives the Iron Heart BUFF when reaching level 60 in the season server without dying.
There are currently no plans for new hardcore servers.
