Chapter 4 Strategic Map
Section 1 City
There are a total of 31 cities on the strategic map. The cities owned by warlords are marked with the monarch's flag and need to launch a war to capture them. The cities without flags are empty cities and can be captured by sending any generals.
There is year and month information in the upper left corner of the map, followed by the number of currently available commands.
Section 2 City Interface
Click on your own city on the strategic map (flag floating) to immediately enter the city interface. The important information you need to pay attention to is:
1. The degree of dominance affects gold and rice income. If it is lower than 50, it may trigger public riots. Riots may cause losses of gold, rice, land, industry, and population. The degree of dominance can be improved through internal affairs development and opening warehouses to benefit the people.
2. Internal affairs development, conscription, reading, treatment, etc. all require gold consumption, and taxes are collected once every April.
3. When the rice army goes to war, it consumes rice every day. If the rice grain is exhausted, the war will fail. Rice is harvested once every October.
4. Land affects the rice harvest in October every year
5. Industrial influence on gold tax every April
6. Population affects gold and rice income, and higher is not always better. It needs to be developed in a coordinated manner with land and industry.
7. Disaster Prevention: Floods occur in May and June every year (causing losses of rice, industry, and population), and droughts occur in August and September every year (causing losses of land, population, and soldiers). Disaster Prevention 99 No losses after the disaster, only decreases Disaster prevention value
8. The number of military commanders in this city. Each city can accommodate up to 10 military commanders.
9. Soldiers are active soldiers commanded by generals.
At the bottom right of the city interface is the button to return to the strategic map. Above the return button is the button for generals. Click to browse the details of the generals in this city.
At the bottom left of the city interface is the city menu, from left to right:

a. Land reclamation (increase rice harvest in October and increase dominance)
b. Encourage industry and commerce (increase April gold tax and improve governance)
c. Market development (increasing the city population, indirectly increasing gold and rice income, and improving governance)
d. Disaster prevention (disaster prevention must be raised to 99 to be foolproof. As the saying goes, a thousand-mile embankment is destroyed by an ant nest)
B. Collect intelligence (send generals to search for gold, rice, treasures, and talents)
C. Strategic diplomacy
a. Alliance (conclude a 1-year agreement with other forces and non-aggression; or spend 1 command to terminate the agreement)
b. Distancing (sending high-intelligence and high-virtue military officers will alienate generals from other forces and reduce their loyalty)
c. Recruitment (sending high-intelligence and high-morality military officers will recruit generals from other forces. If the other party's loyalty is greater than 75, it will definitely fail)
D. General movement (select an adjacent city or empty city and send one or more generals there)
2. Army
A. Go on an expedition (select an adjacent enemy city or an empty city, and send one or more generals carrying gold and rice to attack)
B. Recruitment (recruiting troops can be done by spending money or 0 troops, and only the strength of generals will be adjusted)
C. Reconnaissance (consumes 1 command to view the details of any city)
D. Appointment (does not consume instructions, designates the city's prefect. When the enemy attacks, the prefect will be the main general and defend the city by default. The prefect's virtue affects the effect of opening warehouses to help the people)
3. Warehouse
A. Transport supplies (designate your own city, transport gold, rice, and treasures, 100% safe delivery)
B. Open warehouses to benefit the people (give alms and rice to the people of the city to improve the degree of rule. The higher the virtue of the prefect, the better the effect)
C. Reward generals (when the generals’ loyalty reaches 90, they will no longer accept rewards)
a. Reward gold (to improve the loyalty of generals, the higher the monarch’s virtue, the better the effect)
b. Reward treasures (to improve the loyalty of generals, the higher the monarch's virtue, the better the effect)
