I believe that you have passed the training period and have begun to start a new world again. I also played for 20 hours and summarized some tips and bugs after opening 5 to 7 worlds. Posted here for everyone’s convenience.
First of all, remember that the biggest enemy is never the undead and goblins, but also the dwarf AI. These guys who don't know how to sleep or swim and love to dive into monsters deserve to die ten thousand times.
Residence: You need a statue and an enclosed space to sleep at the beginning. Block the entrance and exit with doors and ground gates, and the statue will automatically detect the space (0.9.004). Version 9.002 needs to be sealed first before placing the statue. This is a BUG, which has been fixed in 9.004.
Food: Build a table and choose food to put on it. Eat more apples and less berries. Synthetic shortage behind berries.
Coal is a scarce resource, mainly because it is needed for food. Make less bread, the recovery will be too low, not worth it.
Beer increases dwarf speed and attack. Do more if you have the conditions.
Water can increase the growth rate of plants. Wheat can be planted near water, or water can be stored for irrigation (it’s very annoying, don’t trap your dwarves).
Monster: What should I do if the enemy is too cruel? It's okay, we have a BUG.
First, let’s talk about the characteristics of concentrated enemies.
Skeletons: The most annoying creatures. They can smash walls and stack arhats, and there are many of them. But just like the dwarf AI, it can die stupidly if left alone.
Defense method: You can build a stone wall higher than 4 blocks. At least 2 blocks thick. Because rocks are difficult to hit and Iron Arhat will lose at least 4 skeletons, it can be easily defeated. This is for sending materials.
Zombies: Useless creatures, the only thing they have is a lot of blood. Defense method: Build a 2-block high wall.
Fat Zombie: Same as above, sometimes even unable to jump a height.
Goblin: Annoying guy. The combat ability is not weak, and it harasses regularly. It occurs for the first time at levels 5 to 6 at the beginning. There is no other way to avoid the disaster. Let the dwarves leave or create a confined space. After building the house, all you have to do is close the door.
Beholder: Appears when monsters attack, but never attacks me. I didn't bother him either.
Dragon: It didn’t drop (at least I didn’t find it). Are you sure you want to trouble him? If you want to steal the dragon egg, just teleport there.
Bugs: There are a lot of bugs during the testing phase of the game. I only discovered some of them while playing. I only write down the useful and noteworthy ones.
Monster card BUG: Placing blocks can directly kill monsters without dropping them. Like this
This bug can kill the goblin tribe without any damage, dig a tunnel under the camp, and bury them to death.
Swimming: If something falls in a T-shaped place on the bottom of the sea, you will be stuck with a large number of dwarves. Then drowned. The solution is to put a portal.
Task: In 0.9002, if two tasks are completed at the same time, it will pop up. In 004, it will occasionally not give you a synthesis scroll. So try to complete the task alone
Are the dwarves still running around? Put up a warning sign so your dwarf knows the danger and won't pass it. But it just acts as a wall. Even after placing the portal, you will still be able to pass through it.
There is also the store opening task that everyone cares about. I haven't solved this either. However, the so-called size did not increase after the second and third levels were unlocked, but the climate changed, so I suspect that the completion level has not reached the second level at all. It may also be a problem after cracking. This is unknown.
Unfortunately, I recently opened a new save file, so the old big house is gone. I really hope that the game will have separate save options for the new world and the old world in the future.
It is worth mentioning that the electric tower can be stacked in 3 layers (put another one on top of the small electric tower)
Put more trolleys on the subway.
Dwarves are all foodies, so they tend to plant trees in the plains...
Water can speed up growth, so make a reservoir to collect more points.
