I check the inclusion and snapshot status of my website on Baidu basically every day. Many friends often observe and find a strange phenomenon in Baidu snapshots: the snapshots are not returned every week. Yesterday's snapshot of my website Happy Little Game www.aihehe.com was taken on May 14th. This week, the snapshot was basically from the previous day, but as of today, Saturday, the snapshot time is back to May 7th.
The same phenomenon occurred in the past few weeks (I wonder if any friends have the same situation with my website). My website is updated basically every day. I analyzed it based on my own experience:
1. It may be that my website is new, it has been online for about two months, and Baidu’s inclusion is not ideal (it was updated to 280 items this week).
2. The weight of my website on Baidu is not high. There are only two or three keywords that get traffic every day.
3. Over-optimization problem: I think this is unlikely because my website has also added some basic SEO optimization keywords and descriptions.
4. Originality: I think there may be a reason for this. My website is for small games. Most of the data comes from the Internet, and the originality is also part of the introduction. Baidu is becoming more and more original, and going back may be a reminder to me!
5. I am a programmer myself. I think it may be a problem with Baidu's mechanism. It has set some websites that are still in the review period to roll back the files on the weekend. Why this is done, I don't understand. , Baidu, many things are difficult to estimate.
6. External links: My website has several external links. I was in an SEO group and heard from a friend that for a new website, it is best not to have external links, or to do as little as possible. It seems that I have to consider one or more. Do you need external links?
Summary: I think my website snapshot will return to normal on Monday. I think if I stabilize my website quickly: add some original articles, do a good job of user reflection, and reduce some external links, and don’t use Baidu related products China-Canada links (suggested by an expert), and optimize the internal links of the website (I am still learning in this aspect, haha).
Weekend is a time when my website traffic is relatively high. The homepage is back, which makes me feel a little depressed. I have no choice but to follow Baidu!
