In Tower Defense RNG on Roblox, you can only place a limited number of towers around the map. Towers need to be combined with Traps for an effective match, but it's difficult to know which Towers to invest in. With this guide, you'll know which Towers to keep and which to swap out as soon as possible.
There are a total of 18 Towers in Tower Defense RNG on Roblox, giving you plenty of units that you could potentially roll. The issue is that you have no control over which towers you get because of the RNG system in the game.
As you continue to play and roll more Towers, you'll be left wondering which ones you should spend money on to roll traits.
Tier | Tower |
---|---|
S | Dark Terra, Obliterator, Proton Sniper. |
A | Cataclysme, Hydroblaster, Orb of Darkness, Retribution. |
B | Infrared, Plasma Cannon, Volcano. |
C | Dualshot, Flame Thrower, Rocket Launcher. |
D | Laser Blaster, Minigun, Orb of Light, Tesla, Turret. |
Dark Terra - Although rare, the Dark Terra Tower does 10,000,000 in damage with a range of 25. It fires once per second, ensuring that the enemies running toward the Exit won't get much of a chance to get very far. However, you do need to be level 17 to get this Tower, and it can take a lot of hours of gameplay to reach that level.
Obliterator - The second most powerful Tower in Tower Defense RNG, the Obliterator can deal out 20,000,000 points of damage. It is a slower Tower, though, so be sure to take that into account when positioning it. The Obliterator can only fire once every four seconds, and has a range of 20 - which is on the smaller side of the available ranges that other Towers have.
Proton Sniper - Not only is the Proton Sniper the most powerful Tower in Tower Defense RNG, it's also one of the fastest, and it has one of the largest ranges. You can expect this Tower to hit your enemies every 0.5 seconds with 390,000,000 points of firepower!
Cataclysme - You won't start rolling the Cataclysme Tower until you hit level 22, but the 0.8-second fire rate will certainly help you cut your enemies down to size. It's not quite as strong as the Towers in S-tier, though, which is why I've bumped it down to A-tier.
Hydro Blaster - Like the Cataclysme, the Hydro Blaster doesn't quite have the stats to be an S-tier Tower. It only deals 4,500,000 points in damage, and fires every two seconds. This is comparable to the Cataclysme's 5,000,000 damage, though the Cataclysme does fire faster.
Orb of Darkness - The Orb of Darkness certainly deserves its place as an A-tier Tower. With 5,000,000 damage, it matches up with the other A-tier Towers, though it does have a larger range of 33, which will help you cover more of an area than other Towers will.
Retribution - Retribution also does 5,000,000 points of damage - are you seeing a theme here? It fits in perfectly with the other A-tier Towers, though it does take longer to fire on your enemies than the others in this tier.
Infrared - Infrared is a decent Tower that you won't need to wait too long to get in-game. At level 10, you'll start seeing this Tower on your rolls. It fires every 0.8 seconds, which is significantly faster than a lot of other Towers in the game, and it can target three enemies at a time. The only reason it doesn't rank lower on this list is because of its speed and the number of enemies it can target.
Plasma Cannon - The Plasma Cannon can only hit one target at a time, but it meets the requirements of B-tier because it does 500,000 in damage and has a range of 30! This is definitely the best Tower in B-tier, and would absolutely be in A-tier if it was a little more powerful.
Volcano - The Volcano Tower may do more damage than the Plasma Cannon, but its range is lacking. Although it can do 1,000,000 points of damage, it has a range of 22, so it isn't as strong or versatile as the Towers in B-tier.
Dualshot - With 30,000 damage, you may be wondering why the Dualshot Tower isn't in B-tier with the Infrared Tower. That's because it can only target one enemy at a time, making it a pretty useless Tower to have later in your game. Not as useless as the Towers in D-tier, though.
Flame Thrower - The Flame Thrower might sound like it'll be a cool Tower to have in your game, but its stats are lackluster. It only does 1,330 damage per shot, and can fire every second. It's still stronger than the D-tier Towers, though.
Rocket Launcher - Like the Flame Thrower, the Rocket Launcher is exactly where it needs to be. It's a little weaker than the Flame Thrower, only able to do 1,000 damage, and it can only fire every two seconds. Its saving grace is its splash target zone, which enables it to hit more enemies at once.
Laser Blaster - The strongest of the D-tier Towers, the Laser Blaster can do 750 damage every second when firing at your enemies. Having this, the Orb of Light, and a Tesla is a great set of Towers for your early game matches.
Minigun - It does 10 damage. Get rid of it as soon as you see other Towers come through on the RNG system.
Orb of Light - 250 damage and a fire rate of 0.75 seconds, the Orb of Light is one of the best D-tier Tower there is. When you're setting up your map in the early game, this Tower is going to help you stay alive longer.
Tesla - At 30 damage, the Tesla is one of the better early game Towers, but it certainly deserves its place in D-tier with the stats it has. It can target three enemies, though, so I'd advise either this Tower, the Laser Blaster, or the Orb of Light if you have to choose a Tower from the D-tier list.
Turret - A level 1 Tower that you should swap out as soon as possible, the Turret does seven damage. I don't think I need to say any more than that.
