As the core pillar of economic and social development, the information and communication industry plays a key role in promoting the deep integration of artificial intelligence and economy. In order to accelerate the high-quality development of the artificial intelligence industry, on September 9, under the guidance of the Guangdong Provincial Communications Administration, the founding meeting of the Artificial Intelligence Professional Committee of the Guangdong Provincial Communications Society and the Artificial Intelligence Technology Forum were held in Guangzhou.
It is reported that this event brought together 62 leading companies to jointly establish the first "Artificial Intelligence Professional Committee" (hereinafter referred to as the Special Committee) in the communications industry, with China Mobile Guangdong Company as the director unit. At the meeting, many leaders and guests delivered speeches, attracting more than 200 representatives from scientific research, industry and society. During the meeting, a director unit awarding ceremony and a committee member appointment ceremony were held. Dr. Yu Gang, head of the AI Competence Center of China Mobile Guangdong Company, was appointed as the chairman of the board. Vice-chairmen, committee members, and secretary-general candidates were also appointed.
The special committee immediately announced three core results: first, a MaaS aggregation system with richer resources, more powerful platform functions, and more comprehensive think tank talents; second, AI service innovation that is closer to consumers, making AI technology closer to people's lives. ; Finally, there are the results of industry large models, such as the in-depth application of the "Jiutian Large Model" in government affairs, water conservancy, security and other fields, which has significantly improved the level of industry intelligence. The relevant person in charge of the special committee said that in the future, it will focus on the high-quality development of artificial intelligence, strengthen industry-university-research cooperation, build communication bridges, promote close cooperation between the government, scientific research institutions and enterprises, jointly promote the coordinated development of the industrial chain, and contribute to the economy and society. Comprehensive empowerment opens a new chapter in the intelligent era.
