IT House reported on September 8 that according to a survey by the online education platform Great Learning, 83% of entry-level professionals said that technology (especially artificial intelligence) is "disruptive" and is affecting their work . At the same time, artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) have become the most popular skills improvement direction for employees in fiscal year 2025.
IT House noted that Hari Krishnan NAIr, co-founder of Great Learning, pointed out that unemployment and insecurity are major concerns . He said: “Many interviewees have seen that artificial intelligence is replacing jobs-maybe not their specific jobs, But they do worry that if they don’t upgrade their AI skills, they might become redundant in their organizations.”

Additionally, some clients may require fewer full-time employees (FTEs) to be deployed per project due to the productivity and efficiency gains brought by AI.
In terms of upskilling, Nair added that while the company has only focused on generative AI training for technical teams in the past, in FY2025, they hope to expand it to operations, customer service, human resources, finance, marketing and other functions department.
