At the core of IBM's generative AI strategy is helping clients make the most of enterprise data, combining open source technologies and a connected ecosystem across multiple platforms. Cooperation with AWS enables IBM's technology to be better integrated with the AWS environment, including tools and applications such as Amazon SageMaker and Amazon Bedrock.
This cooperation also focuses on the high-performance Granite model that customers most need and the corresponding governance capabilities to ensure the credibility of the project. IBM commercial partners are also assisting customers from pilot to production, providing differentiated value to customers, and selling IBM software through AWS Marketplace.
At the conference, IBM and AWS will demonstrate how to drive the development of enterprise-level AI for specific business needs. IBM Granite models will be demonstrated through Amazon Bedrock and Amazon SageMaker JumpStart, and the latest Granite 3.0 models will also be online. These models support AWS Neuron to run deep learning tasks on AWS Inferentia and AWS Trainium base instances.
In the artificial intelligence life cycle, governance, security and observability have become important issues. IBM and AWS have joined forces to provide governance solutions that provide the necessary insights and explainability for AI projects to advance smoothly on Amazon SageMaker and Amazon Bedrock. In addition, the IBM Guardium AI security solution has also been launched on AWS Marketplace to help customers discover AI deployments, deal with compliance, and protect sensitive data.
IBM Instana Generative AI Observability Service will provide Amazon Bedrock and SageMaker with advanced monitoring capabilities to ensure the reliability of generative AI applications. At the same time, IBM Concert will use the insights of generative AI to improve application resiliency and identify potential problems in a timely manner. Finally, IBM's autonomous cloud security solution will also be launched globally in December to help organizations automate cloud security management in the AWS environment.
IBM Consulting will demonstrate its deep expertise in AI technology to help enterprises deepen the application of generative AI on AWS. Customers can now purchase IBM's various software products and consulting services through the AWS Marketplace, choosing solutions from trusted IBM business partners.
The cooperation between IBM and AWS provides powerful technology and security guarantees for the implementation of enterprise-level AI, and also heralds the acceleration of the development of responsible AI. We believe that more companies will benefit from this cooperation in the future, seize opportunities in the AI wave, and achieve business transformation and upgrading.
