Don't Starve Online is an adventure puzzle game published by Klei Entertainment. Players and their companions will enter this world with bare hands. Players need to conquer different environments and repel monster attacks. When developing maps for different environments, different convenience props will be needed. Among them, the role of star detectors is particularly important. If there are small If you don’t know how to use and make a star detector, you can follow the editor to read this guide on making and using a star detector.
The star detector is a craftable item in Don't Starve Together. It consumes 1 moon rock and 1 thulium ore to craft in the building column. The blueprints required to unlock the Star Detector need to be obtained by using the Archives Circle to unlock the knowledge of the distillation in the blue knowledge dispenser.
It can be deployed in barrier-free sites (like general buildings, it can be deployed on ships) and used to guide the direction of unmined Moon Altar parts.
A star detector can be used 10 times. But because the two materials consumed for its production are both 1, putting it down and knocking it off with a hammer will return all the materials, and then you can make a new one.
After being deployed to the ground, the Star Detector will take 5 seconds to detect the location of the nearest Moon Altar component and shoot an arrow pointing in its direction. This arrow will last for 1 day. If a Celestial Temple part is buried in a nearby plot, the Star Detector will not point out the location, but will dig it up directly. After completion, the star detector will return to item form and consume one durability.
The priority of the probes is as follows:
Buried Celestial Temple Parts.
Any Moon Altar part that is underwater.
Alluring structure.
King Crab, if the unactivated Celestial Tribute is still on him.
If all the Moon Altar parts are found in the world, or use it in the cave. After being put down, the star detector will not automatically return to the item form, but will continue to glow on the ground. The player needs to manually take it back before it can return to the item form (durability is not consumed). At this time, it can act as a small-scale Light source or decoration.
