ByteDance’s Doubao PC version has added a new video generation function, which is currently in the internal testing stage, and some users have been qualified to experience it. This function is based on PixelDance, the video generation model previously released by ByteDance. Users can generate videos by uploading pictures, entering prompt words, and adding camera movement and storyboard information. During the internal beta period, each user can generate ten videos for free every day, aiming to help users create and express more conveniently. This move marks another step forward for ByteDance in the field of AI video generation, providing users with easier-to-use video creation tools.
The video generation function of the computer version of Doubao owned by ByteDance has been launched for internal testing, and some users are now eligible to experience it. After passing the internal test application, users can visit doubao.com, select the "Video Generation" function, upload pictures and enter prompt words, and add camera movement and storyboard information to generate video content. During the internal testing phase, users can generate ten videos for free every day.
Previously, ByteDance's video generation model PixelDance was released at the end of September, and a small-scale invitation test was conducted on the Jimeng AI and Volcano Engine platforms for creators and corporate customers.
The Doubao PC version is currently gradually opening up its video generation capabilities based on the PixelDance model. The person in charge of Doubao said that this function will continue to be opened and optimized in the future, aiming to help more ordinary users create and express more conveniently.
The opening of the internal test of the video generation function of Doubao PC version indicates that this technology will be further popularized and provide more users with a convenient video creation experience. I believe that with the continuous optimization of technology and improvement of functions, Doubao will become the preferred platform for more users to create videos.
