Nanjing University took the lead in launching the "1+X+Y" three-level artificial intelligence general core course program in universities across the country. This move marks a new stage of artificial intelligence education in my country's universities. The program covers three levels: compulsory courses, literacy courses and cutting-edge expansion courses. It aims to provide more than 3,700 freshmen with a more comprehensive and in-depth artificial intelligence learning experience, and plans to cover all undergraduate freshmen from 2024. This not only reflects NTU’s exploration and innovation in the field of artificial intelligence education, but also provides valuable experience and reference for other universities, heralding changes in the future training model of artificial intelligence talents in universities.
