Vodafone and Microsoft have entered into a 10-year strategic cooperation agreement to provide advanced digital platform services to more than 300 million businesses, public sector and consumers across Europe and Africa. Vodafone and Microsoft signed a 10-year strategic cooperation and are committed to providing digital platform services to more than 300 million enterprises, public sectors and consumers in Europe and Africa. The collaboration focuses on generative artificial intelligence, IoT expansion, digital and financial services, and global data center cloud strategy optimization. Vodafone will invest US$1.5 billion to jointly develop cloud and customer-centric artificial intelligence services with Microsoft. The cooperation will also drive digital acceleration in Africa and improve the lives of 100 million consumers and 1 million small and medium-sized enterprises. In terms of enterprise growth, Vodafone will expand the distribution of Microsoft services to support approximately 24 million small and medium-sized enterprises in Europe.This cooperation will not only promote the vigorous development of the digital economy in Europe and Africa, but also significantly improve the living standards of local residents, especially in Africa, and will benefit millions of small and medium-sized enterprises and consumers.
