Starting today, we will officially start carefully diagnosing websites with diagnostic needs. However, it must be explained first: Peng Yucheng’s diagnosis of each website is a personal suggestion. If there is anything wrong, I hope that friends who come to diagnose will bring it up and we can discuss it with each other. If you want to get more suggestions from friends in the industry, you can ask questions in the Tuiyi website diagnosis section: http://bbs.tui18.com/forum-17-1.html.
LZ asked:
Website address: www.yinlingchina.com
Website type: Portal website
Website establishment time: December 2008
PR value: currently 1
Website positioning: Shanghai’s mid- to low-end labor market
Features and advantages: Employment Agency Street. The so-called Employment Agency Street integrates all employment agencies in various districts of Shanghai, allowing users to lock in an area and search more conveniently.
Question for consultation: Can you help analyze the SEO issues of the website, and can you give a general planning strategy direction, such as what promotion should be carried out at what stage?
Other notes: I am engaged in planning work and know a lot about promotion. But I still hope Brother Peng can help explain it more thoroughly.
Peng Yucheng replied:
I just checked the inclusion status of LZ website, Baidu is: 888; Google is: 787. Baidu Snapshot was last updated on May 7. There are only a few dozen backlinks in Baidu and Google, and the quality of external links is not very high. These data all play an important role in website SEO. Let me analyze it for you based on the situation of our website itself and the existing data.
In fact, it is relatively late to talk about the planning of our website now, because all website planning and development direction should be completed before website construction. I think our current website is pretty good. The structure, layout, functions, and experience are all very good. What is missing now is traffic and keyword ranking, as well as website visibility.
First of all, I think the meta tag on the homepage of our website is not set properly. The reason is that our existing keywords are too scattered. I suggest that we select 2-3 more important keywords and then focus on promoting these keywords in the early stage. For example: the keyword "Shanghai Employment Agency", then we should focus on the word Shanghai Employment Agency in the title, and assist in setting 1-2 long-tail keywords, such as: "Shanghai No. 1 Employment Agency Network", " "Employment website for people in Shanghai" and so on, and then edit the description tag carefully, so that relevant keywords appear at least 2-4 times in the description tag. Finally, you should also fill in the appropriate keywords in the keywords tag (although it is not as important now as it was then).
Also, I found that the meta tags of each page of our website are the same, which has a greater impact on the inclusion. I suggest that we set the meta tags of each page and column, so as not to Same. At least adjust the meta tags of important pages, and automatically extract descriptions from other content pages. The internal links of our website are still open, so there is not much problem in this regard.
After talking about the internal SEO, let’s talk about the external SEO construction of our website.
Our website has been online for half a year, and the PR staying at 1 is indeed relatively low, so there is a reason why our weight and inclusion in Google are relatively low. There are currently two main problems with the external links of our website: one is that there are not many high-quality links, and the other is that there are no text links using keywords to be promoted. The next step is for us to contact more websites in the same industry (recruitment, etc.), discuss link cooperation with them, and then use promoted keywords to make text links. Here you need to grasp the number of links added every day. It is more appropriate to add 2 links every day. Don't be impatient and eventually cause our website to be K-ed and lose it.
The above is my diagnosis of the SEO of our website. I hope it can be of some help to LZ. If you have any questions, please feel free to discuss and solve them! To learn more about Peng Yucheng’s SEO optimization articles, please see "How to Optimize Web Pages (Part 1) )》.
