It seems to have started in mid-to-late March. The homepage of our hospital's website on Baidu was no longer on the first page. Later, I couldn't find the homepage at all. A few days ago, none of the keywords found in the home page title could be found, including the name of our hospital.
To be honest, I was anxious. A problem arises and needs to be solved, but what is the reason? A series of guesses came out. The reason for the website revision? It should be impossible. The website only changed the homepage. It was revised and launched in early April. Before the revision, the site was not available. The home page is on the first page, but all keyword rankings are still good, but there is no bad performance at all.
Is there a problem with the external links? I checked the external links and found that many websites have a similar situation. The site cannot be found on the homepage, or the keyword ranking is not good. Doesn’t it necessarily mean that the site is not on the homepage? It doesn’t necessarily mean that the ranking has been reduced, right? When our keyword ranking was still good before, we ignored these, but now that the key ranking is gone, we can only doubt one and rule out the other. Remove some external links that we think are bad. If we can contact the other party, we also ask the other party to remove our friendly links.
JS script problem? Those business sections will be switched when the mouse is moved up (at that time, you need to click to switch) JS script problem? The script at that time was not what it is now. It should be said that the script used at that time was relatively "advanced". After the page is executed to the end, the control style is processed once and the effect is achieved, but during the effect, the business section cannot be displayed, and it takes a long time to see it. Is it a problem with the slow speed? If you think about it, it shouldn't be. It's just that we humans couldn't see the information at the time, but as a search engine, it could "see" it. I don’t know if this is really the case, but at least it affects the readability of the page, etc. We still changed the script and changed it to what it is now, using the old method and the simple method.
Is there a problem with the program code? But I can’t see where the problem is. I asked a few friends for advice and they said it was because <h2> was used too much. Is that so? After checking the previous version that I have been using for more than half a year, I found that the original version also had a lot of <h2>. Why was it okay before, but now it is said to be this reason? But I think it still makes sense, not to mention the Baidu uncle. I have had an abnormal temper for about six months. What was true yesterday may be wrong today.
In addition, I changed the meta keywords. This change was not because I felt there was something wrong with it, but because I felt that the previous settings were not very good.
There are many other guesses, is it using a frame? Is there a video that affects the opening of the page? Is there too many pictures? Is the Flash too big? Oh my God, only Baidu knows. There are frames in the old version, but there is one more in the new version. There are no fewer pictures in the old version than now. Does Flash and video really have any impact? In the end, I decided not to deal with these for now.
After Baidu updated this week, the site homepage is on the third page. Searches for hospital names and related keywords are all on the homepage, and the hospital name ranks third.
