I won’t go into the importance of friendly links to search engines. If you look at them, almost all optimized websites have friendly links. I found that some SEO companies rely purely on friendly links when optimizing websites for clients, and use dedicated friendly link specialists to optimize them. But is this really effective? I have seen some websites where almost one-third of the pages are friendly links, but the website ranking is not very good. Some SEOers only focus on friendly links, but it doesn't matter which links are valid links and which are invalid links. Express some personal opinions on friendly links!
Generally, there are only two search engines for search engine optimization, one is Baidu (the world's largest Chinese search engine), and the other is Google (the global search engine)! Other search engines don't pay much attention to it because of market exploitation. The rate is low, and very few people use other search engines! When doing Baidu optimization, you must choose links that Baidu likes, and when doing Google, you must choose links that Google likes. So what kind of links target what kind of search engines? Woolen cloth?
1. For Baidu search engine!
If you are optimizing for Baidu, then you should choose the following friendly links.
1. Baidu snapshot. The Baidu snapshot of the website linked to you must be updated frequently. If the website snapshot linked to you is not updated every few weeks, then the link will not be useful to you. When you make friendly links, you will find that some webmasters specifically mention that Baidu snapshots need to be updated quickly. When looking at snapshots, you should also look at the overall update frequency of the website. Don't just look at the update time of the homepage, but also the update time of other pages. Such links will be very useful to Baidu!
2. Whether the website rights are exclusive. When exchanging links with your website, check to see if the other party's website has been banned by Baidu. If the website has been banned, don't link to it. This will not be good for your website, but will be detrimental to your website. Take Yichuangnet (http://www.yichuangnet.com) for example. In the past, I added some links that were banned by Baidu. After a while, my own website was also banned. When my website was banned, I removed all the links to the banned website, and the website's weight slowly recovered. Therefore, the website that was banned must not be linked to.
3. Is the website content updated quickly? If a website does not update an article for several days, it is best not to include such links.
4. It is best for the website to have a ranking. When a website ranks in Baidu, Baidu can give it a high weight. Remember, when making a link to Baidu, don’t look at the PR of the other website. The PR of the website only plays some role for Google. I think it has no meaning for Baidu! For Baidu, it is almost the above points. Those that meet the above points are basically a very good link. Good link.
2. For Google search engine!
If you optimize Google, you should consider a few points: 1. The other party’s PR. Although many SEOers say that PR has no value, I think it still has a certain meaning. Otherwise, why does Google say that PR is a measure of the importance of a web page. If PR is not important, why do many SEOers require PR when doing links? If PR is not important, why are some well-ranked websites basically higher than PR without ranking? Therefore, the PR of the website still has a certain effect, otherwise there would not be so many SEOers pursuing it. 2. Backlinks to the other party’s website. For Google, backlinks are an important indicator of website ranking. That is to say, the quality of the website's backlinks means that the website has a high weight. If your website links to a website with a high weight, it will naturally have a positive impact on the website ranking. There are benefits to your website too. For Google, I think these two points are more important. Of course, frequently updated website links are better.
The above is a brief analysis of the friendly links that Baidu and Google each like. Of course, there are other factors, but I think the above points are the most important. When we make friendly links, we should also consider the quality of the links. Don't make some unnecessary links. This will not only play its due role, but also affect the beauty of the website!
